Someone asked me about ketogenic dieting this week:
The often used “buzz word” in the western health & wellbeing world.
“More often than not maybe not executed to its full potential.”
Their question…
“How has the Keto diet worked for you if you have ever implemented?”
My thoughts & breakdown:
“There are for and against benefits for the ketogenic diet.
Often this is good in the short term yet would this work in the long term. That would be of course objective and goal dependent.
Have I ever implemented this to full extent it requires through managing and measuring ketosis? once
did it work? to a certain degree.
Would I do it again?no
Why?
There are more strategic ways of been able to develop and signify a strong physique.
Do they require continuous adaptation, strategic measure and following with full accountability the nutrition without negotiation of what can and can’t be done? Yes if the results where to follow.
Is ketogenic dieting a buzz word in western society? Yes.
Do people exploit it to its greatest science? More often than not absolutely not.”
If it helps, it helps be objective though because they are just my thoughts, points and a summary from a greater understanding of a science I have studied for a long time.
Dr Axe book might help you gather more insight.
Take care.
